A blossom is the reproductive structure found in flowering plants (plants of the division Magnoliophyta, also called angiosperms). The biological function of a blossom is to mediate the union of sperm with ovum in order to produce seeds. The process begins with pollination, is followed by fertilization, leading to the formation and dispersal of the seeds. For the higher plants, seeds are the next generation, and serve as the primary means by which individuals of a species are dispersed across the landscape. The grouping of flowers on a plant is called the inflorescence.
Be spontaneous - you don't have to wait for a very special occasion to give blossom. In fact, flower given for no reason other than "I was thinking of you today" mean much more because they are unexpected.
Don't overlook anyone - a bouquet can express a range of feelings -- from romantic to friendly to something in between. So will your mother, daughter, sister, and friends.
So, when giving roses, consider white to catch her attention.
Roses, for e.g, are usually a great value during summer months. In the winter, mixed bouquets may be a better way to go.
